I am Joshua
I am a Colorado Based photographer working on showing the beauty of as many landscapes and environments as possible.
I have had a camera in my hand since about 2010. During that time I bought my first Nikon camera. I carried it around with me in the mountains and began taking photos of everything I could see. Over the last decade I have honed my skill and technique into a style that I find compliments the environment around. Fortunately, I live in one of the most beautiful and photogenic areas, right here in Colorado Springs.
While having had a long-standing emphasis on landscapes, I have fallen in love with pet portraiture since I found my best friend, Niko the Rhodeian Ridgeback in 2020. That being said, we do also offer portraits and pet portraitures upon request.

How long have you been doing photography?
I bought my first camera, a Nikon D90, in 2010. Since then I have tried to keep a camera on my side at all times. And over time I have upgraded my gear and continue to learn and hone my craft.
Do you only shoot in Colorado?
Being that I live here, and Colorado having countless, stunning photo opportunities in the state, I primarily shoot here. I try and travel as much as possible though, and I always bring my camera. I love shooting in Utah - the prettiest state, in my opinion. I have also had the opportunity to photograph in gorgeous places like Puerto Rico, the Polynesian Islands, across the continental US and even some spots in East Africa. I am always willing to travel to get the shot!

You do pet portraits. Do you have any pets?
Yes! My wife and I have two dogs. They are both featured here on my site. Niko is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Check out Niko's instagram. Auggie is a Newfoundland dog. He is about a year old now and weighing in at just about 150lbs. We bring them anywhere and everywhere we can.
What is your goal?
Currently I am working a day job. My goal is to transition over to do full time photography. I would like to create an environment for people to order prints or have ones of their own commissioned. With all the traveling that this entails, I would also like to set up trips where I can bring people out with me and show them the cool environments for them to shoot.
